DESCRIPTION:Come join us and help contribute to the greening of Connecticut!\nFairfield County Medical Association\, in partnership with InfoShred\, will host a professional shredding event\, all proceeds to benefit the Fairfield County Medical Foundation: \nSaturday\, September 18\, 2021\n9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon \nFCMA HEADQUARTERS\n917 BRIDGEPORT AVENUE\, SHELTON \n$10 per box | $10 per electronics plus recycling fee (approximately $1.00 per pound)  \n\nDISCARD your medical records and confidential documents safely.\nPROTECT against identity theft—consider shredding old material with your Social Security number\, account numbers\, medical information\, financial records\, and other personal documents.\nCONTRIBUTE to the greening of Connecticut: every ton of recycled paper saves about 17 trees.\nSAVE ENERGY: for every one ton of recycled paper\, we save 682.5 gallons of oil\, 7\,000 gallons of water\, and 3.3 cubic yards of landfill space.\n\nSchedule a cleanup day and make it fun for staff. Dress down\, order in! \nPAPER SHREDDING: Pack your shreddables in a box (11” x 12” x 16”)\, container\, or bag. You don’t have to sort out clips\, binders\, etc.–the shredder handles it all! All materials will be brought to and shredded at InfoShred’s secure facility. \nELECTRONICS: Electronics are $10 each plus a $1.00 per pound recycling fee. They will be brought back to InfoShred and shredded separate from paper. There will be separate receptacles for electronic recycling items.
